Avalon Springs Farm is a small fiber farm and indie dye art studio. Karen J Schlossberg is the dye artist, and Karen and her family are the farmers. We have alpaca, llama, and angora goats mainly. Berry Meadow Farm, owned by knitwear designer Carole Schumann and her husband Kevin, is located on 110 acres in Orwell Vermont. Carole's designs are available as knitting and crochet kits, each in unique reusable packaging (you'll see many berry meadow project bags being carried around the fairgrounds!). Many of our kits utilize fiber from our herd of alpacas and flock of Rambouillet and Romeldale sheep. Blackberry Hill Farm is a small, local family farm in the Hudson Valley where we raise llamas, sheep, alpacas, and angora rabbits. We offer fiber in all stages from raw fleeces to roving, yarn, hats, ornaments and other fine fiber products. We will also have our own maple syrup, herbs, and BHF Healing Salve at this festival. Stop by our booth (look for grapevines and lights) to feel our Cormo and Cormo cross fleeces and to ask us about visiting our farm. Please take note - we are low tech so bring cash or a check.

Browder’s Birds is a family-owned livestock farm on the North Fork of Long Island’s East End raising poultry, turkeys, ducks & Cotswold sheep. We focus on producing high-quality hand-dyed farm-spun yarns and fibers from our sheep and from fibers produced by other farmers. We keep a number of breeds of sheep in the flock but are focusing on Teeswater, Blue-faced Leicester (BFL) and BFL Teeswater cross (BLTees), and Jacob sheep. Our products include hand-dyed yarns spun on the farm which can be found in some local yarn shops, spinning and felting fibers,  knitting patterns, and some finished goods.
